The Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center will be in Taylorsville, Utah, according to a June 17 news release from the health system.

The state of Utah will provide $25 million for the center, allowing it to be constructed earlier than planned, according to Intermountain.

The new facility will include a walk-in crisis center and the first dedicated crisis care space for children with autism and neurodiverse needs in Utah.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
