EvolveMD is a company that provides behavioral health services at primary care facilities, according to a May 4 news release.

“A primary care provider may see the immediate need for a psychiatric consultation or a referral to a behavioral health manager, which is initiated right away since evolvedMD is now part of the fabric of the practice,” IMS CEO Monique Delgado said in the release. “The IMS [primary care physician] works in concert with evolvedMD staff to address social determinants or other issues factoring into a patient’s well-being, taking a holistic approach to the patient’s overall health.”

The partnership is expected to streamline care, reduce mental health stigma, prevent provider burnout and catch mental health issues before they become severe.

Arizona ranks 47th in the nation for access to care and behavioral health awareness, according to the release.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
