Coachella Valley Behavioral Health is the only freestanding inpatient behavioral health hospital in the area, according to the outlet. The hospital features two 20-bed adult inpatient units, a 20-bed unit for adolescents, and a unit for older adults aged 65 and older.
The facility was originally slated to open in January, but construction delays and inspections pushed its opening back, according to the Desert Sun.
