How much do the top psychiatry schools cost?

The cost to attend the top-ranked school for psychiatry is 66.8 percent more than that the average cost of attending a private university in the U.S. in 2022, according to U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Medical Schools” list for 2023.

The average yearly cost of tuition at a private college in the U.S. was $39,723, whereas to attend a public school, it was $10,423 on average for in-state students and $22,953 for out-of-state students, according to U.S. News data. Meanwhile, students at Harvard University in Boston, the top psychiatry program in the country, pay $66,284.
