Hinge introduces $100K Mental Health Advocates of Tomorrow initiative

The online dating app Hinge announced its Mental Health Advocates of Tomorrow initiative, an opportunity for current students working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate program in a mental health field to earn funding toward their education, on May 18.

Hinge will distribute a total of $100,000 to 10 separate applicants, providing $10,000 toward each winner's education.

The opportunity is exclusive to future therapists and counselors in the United States who are passionate about supporting the mental health of people of color and members of the LGBTQ community and are over the age of 18.

Applicants have to fill out an application consisting of demographic information, education experience and essay questions. The applications are due June 17 by 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The application can be accessed here.
