HCA Healthcare kicks-off Volunteers of America partnership with $600K mental health grant

Nashville-based HCA Healthcare gave Volunteers of America a $600,000 grant to its program that supports mental health among first responders Aug. 22.

HCA’s partnership with the organization is set to last two years and will promote the program in areas covered by HCA Healthcare, including cities in Colorado, Texas and Florida. 

“Our frontline caregivers show incredible resilience every day, and we are honored to partner with organizations that provide support to these remarkable individuals serving on the frontlines in communities across the country,” Joanne Pulles, vice president of community engagement at HCA Healthcare and president of the HCA Healthcare Foundation, said in a news release Aug. 22.
