Hawaii State Hospital names administrator

Kenneth Luke, MD, has been named the new administrator of the Hawaii State Hospital in Kaneohe — the state’s only forensic psychiatric hospital.

Dr. Luke is a board-certified psychiatrist and has served as interim hospital administrator since May, according to an Oct. 12 news release. In this role, he will oversee full operations of the hospital and over 600 employees.

Dr. Luke was appointed to the role by the Hawaii Department of Health.
