Guidelight has opened a new mental health clinic, Guidelight SouthPark, in Charlotte, N.C.
The company’s first North Carolina-based clinic provides partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults, and aims to provide fast access to care, with most patients seen within 24 hours of referral.
Guidelight plans to open a second location in Charlotte later this year, with further expansion across North Carolina’s Triangle region in 2026.
This clinic will address mental health concerns in North Carolina, where 25% of adults in the state reported symptoms of anxiety or depression and 1 in 5 high school students strongly considered suicide within the past year.
Guidelight currently operates 10 clinics across Massachusetts, Colorado and North Carolina.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
