Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services filed a notice of data breach Feb. 2 after an unauthorized party accessed portions of the provider's IT network, JD Supra reported Feb. 21.
During the breach, the party gained access to sensitive patient information, including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, demographic information, driver’s license numbers, medical information and health insurance information.
GCBHS sent data breach notification letters to everybody affected by the incident following its investigation.
