ECU Health, Acadia break ground on behavioral health hospital in North Carolina

Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health and Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare have broken ground on a behavioral health hospital in Greenville, NBC affiliate WITN reported Oct. 31.

The 144-bed hospital will offer mental health services to adult, senior and adolescent patients with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder, the report said.

The facility is expected to open in the spring of 2025.
