Former behavioral health nurse accused of assaulting teen patients

Ysurf Shariff, RN, was charged with six counts related to allegations he sexually assaulted teen patients at Green Bay (Wis.) Willow Creek Behavioral Health, WBAY reported April 26.

Mr. Shariff, 34, was charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl who was a patient at the mental health facility, the report said. When questioned, he said the girl made sexual advances, but that nothing inappropriate happened.

He was also investigated for allegedly offering to dispense prescribed antidepressants to a 16-year-old girl who was a patient, in exchange for showing him parts of her body.

Mr. Shariff is no longer employed by Willow Creek, the report said.
