Florida treatment center earns Joint Commission Gold Seal

Galen Hope, a mental health and eating disorder treatment center based in Coral Gables, Fla., was awarded the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

 To earn the accreditation, the center was evaluated by The Joint Commission. The organization conducted an on-site review of the center’s treatment programs, sites and staff to assess their safety and quality of care provided, according to a Nov. 1 news release from Galen Hope.

The center was founded by Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, and Amy Boyers, a clinical psychologist.
