Florida system set to open $46M mental health center

Florida-based Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center’s new $46 million behavioral health facility will open in September, LkldNow reported Aug. 30.

The 80,000-square-foot center will provide outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, community groups and inpatient unit and telehealth services.

The center will have 96 inpatient beds and employ 250 to 275 people, mental health practitioners, the report said.
