The district determined which needs to focus on based on analyzing public health data and speaking with public officials, local businesses, service providers and residents, according to the report. Now that the unmet needs have been identified, the collaboration plans on commencing the study later this month.

The study will examine the gaps within behavioral health services, financial and staffing aspects associated with making the recommended changes, policies and regulations that may affect the plans, potential designs of the proposed facilities, and community input and feedback. The final report will be available later this year, according to the report.
