First lady Jill Biden, EdD, visited a Cohen Veterans Network mental health clinic in Oceanside, Calif., in support of the White House's Joining Forces initiative.
The national campaign aims to raise awareness of what military families experience, highlight resources available to veterans and drive policy improvements that support the health and well-being of former service members, according to a Feb. 4 news release from the nonprofit health system.
Cohen Veterans Network, based in Stamford, Conn., has 24 clinics nationwide and has provided mental health services to 50,000 individuals since its founding in 2016.
