The Mariposa Women’s Hospital, to be located on Gracepoint’s Tampa campus, will offer treatment to female patients for depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, among other conditions, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Gracepoint broke ground on the 32-bed facility in June.

“I have always believed we needed a safe place for women where they will feel seen, their voices heard and receive the care they need,” Gracepoint CEO Roaya Tyson told the publication. “It’s the variety of treatments and the multifaceted approach that differentiates Mariposa Women’s from general psychiatric care.”

The facility is slated to begin treating patients in summer 2025.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
