Chandler, Ariz.-based Embark will soon expand into integrated medical and mental health treatment to serve patients with mental health needs and chronic or complex health conditions, according to a Feb. 10 release shared with Becker’s.
Embark offers intensive and virtual outpatient, partial hospitalization and residential treatment for children and young adults. The company operates more than 20 locations.
The company will also expand its offerings in specialty treatment to address schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder, according to the release. It will also offer mental health programs targeted toward athletes.
The organization recently appointed a new CEO, Scott Fillon, who took the helm in August 2024. Former CEO Alex Stavros stepped down after 12 years with Embark.
“This evolution is about strengthening our foundation and healing the whole person, ensuring that every young person and family we serve receives the personalized care they need,” Mr. Fillon said.
