Embark Behavioral Health releases inaugural clinical outcome report

Embark Behavioral Health — a network of mental health treatment programs for young people and their families — has released its first clinical outcomes report.

The report found that while 52 percent of patients admitted in 2022 reported some thoughts of suicide, the average client reported no thoughts of suicide upon discharge, according to an Aug. 24 news release.

Eighty-nine percent of patients experienced improved family functioning, and 72 percent reported improved depression symptoms upon discharge from long-term residential treatment programs. Meanwhile, 71 percent of patients reported less distress 180 days post-discharge.

Eighty-one percent of patients experienced a reduction in anxiety, 77 percent reported a reduction in their depression symptoms and 73 percent reported less distress upon discharge from outpatient programs.
