The clinic, which opened in late 2021, uses intravenous ketamine infusions for patients with severe, treatment-resistant mental health and chronic pain conditions, the report said. Patients typically attend a series of six 40-minute sessions.
“In studies, it shows one single dose of ketamine can help depression and cut suicidal ideation by about 70 percent within an hour of the infusion,” Ms. Howe told KFYR.
Ascend’s ketamine therapy is available through referral only, the report said.
