Concert Health will be integrated into Med First’s facilities in North and South Carolina; 25 percent to 30 percent of those sites lack mental healthcare providers, according to a Dec. 16 news release from Concert Health.
The centers will have mental health practitioners on-site who will provide checkups and medication management and develop coping strategies, according to the release. Each location also will have a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner to develop care plans.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
