The program is designed to treat children and teenagers facing mental health issues through services including individual, family and group therapy, according to a Jan. 23 news release from the health system. The health system launched its first day treatment program in July 2021 at its specialty center in Lakeville, Minn.

The renovated 8,000-square foot-facility that will house the program is projected to treat approximately 350 children annually, the release said.
