The unit was funded by contributions from the Oregon Health Authority, Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe of Indians, the Calkins Family, PacificSource, ADAPT and Mercy Foundation. CHI Mercy Health has invited community members to tour the patient care and activity rooms and meet unit staff before it begins treating patients.
