Chestnut Health Systems inks deal to provide behavioral services at public transit stations

Bloomington, Ill.-based Chestnut Health Systems is partnering with the St. Louis public transit system to provide behavioral services to riders, CBS affiliate KMOV reported Oct. 7.

Teams of two from Chestnut are stationed at the Civic Center and North Hanley MetroLink locations, the report said. The goal is to build relationships with riders while providing services.

The teams offer help with mental health and substance abuse issues, the report said. They also offer help geared toward the unhoused population.
