Mr. Robertson was replaced in May after the Justice Department began an investigation into the company for possible violation of the Controlled Substances Act.

Cerebral filed a lawsuit claiming Mr. Robertson refused to pay back $25.4 million taken out on behalf of the company in January to buy shares of stock, according to Bloomberg. He had pledged 51 percent of the $49.8 million loan as collateral.
