CarePoint launches mental health support program for front-line workers

CarePoint Health Systems has launched MindLine, a mental health support program for front-line health workers and first responders.

The Bayonne, N.J.-based health system has partnered with the Jersey City (N.J.) Health Department to offer the service to city police officers, firefighters, EMTs and other front-line workers at no cost, according to a May 10 CarePoint news release shared with Becker’s via email. The health system intends to provide the service to all Hudson County, N.J., first responders as the program develops. 

The platform, catered toward the care of first responders, offers anonymous counseling, care navigation, general counseling and coordination of telepsychiatry, therapy and primary care appointments, according to the release.
