Available in the company’s Apple Research app, the study aims to explore relationships across various areas of health, such as mental health’s impact on heart rate or how sleep can influence exercise, according to an Feb. 12 news release from the company.
Through using Apple devices such as the iPhone, Apple Watch and Airpods, the study seeks to understand how technology can help to predict, detect and manage mental health challenges, the release said.
Enrollment in the Apple Health Study is open for U.S. residents who meet the minimum age requirement and consent to participate.
