Behavioral health resource center opens in Phoenix

Southwest Behavioral and Health Services has opened a behavioral health resource center in Phoenix, KTAR reported March 6.

The facility will offer a variety of daytime and overnight services, including a cooling center and housing and educational support. Although the center is available to everyone, its key demographics include people with HIV or developmental disabilities.

The center will also offer drug use treatment programs and transportation services, the report said.
