Behavioral health center opens in Pennsylvania

Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger has opened a behavioral health center in Moosic, Pa., according to a July 17 report from ABC affiliate WNEP.

The center, Geisinger Behavioral Health Northeast, features 96 beds across four units and will employ roughly 200 behavioral health providers and support staff. The facility was built in partnership with Acadia Healthcare.

Geisinger will begin taking patients at the new facility August 1.
