NorthCare has opened a new certified community behavioral health clinic in Edmond, Okla.
The new facility will offer outpatient and voluntary services for children, adults and families facing mental illness or substance use needs, with an urgent recovery center expected to open later in the year, according to a March 20 news release.
The center was built using grants from the city of Edmond, Oklahoma County Commissioners, private donations and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Meanwhile, its programs will be funded by a four-year grant offering $1 million annually from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
