Behavioral health center opens in East Texas

The Pittsburg-Camp County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for UT Health East Texas Behavioral Health in Pittsburg, The Tyler Morning Telegraph reported Aug. 28.

The center will offer outpatient evaluation, treatment and management of a variety of mental health diagnoses. Physician referral is not required for patients, who can receive treatment at the center for attention-deficit, anxiety, bipolar, eating, mood, obsessive-compulsive, panic, personality, schizophrenia and post-traumatic stress disorders, the report said.
