Behavioral health, autism care center opens in Florida

Behavioral health center Acorn Health has opened in St. Johns, Fla., The St. Augustine Record reported Nov. 30.

The center will offer clinical care to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder through applied behavioral analysis, which is used to develop individualized plans for patients that is measured by a proprietary behavioral health index.

The center will work with patients between 18 months and 21 years old both in the facility and at home for those located within an 18-mile radius of the center. Acorn specializes in school readiness programs, the report said.
