Preferred Family Healthcare has opened a new behavioral health crisis center in Kirksville, Mo., the Kirksville Daily Express reported Nov. 29.
Kirksville Behavioral Health Crisis Center will offer stabilization services such as screening, stopgap medication, case management, peer support services and assistance connecting patients with additional care and services.
The center will treat patients aged 18 and older and was funded through a Missouri budget New Decision Item included in the state's budget for the expansion of behavioral health services.
