The hospital is being developed through a partnership between Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health and Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health. Ground broke on the $72 million, 150-bed hospital March 7, and the facility is set to open in August.
Mr. Sasenaraine joins the hospital from Spire Orthopedic Partners in Connecticut where he served as central region vice president of operations. He has also served as the east region vice president of operations for Hartford (Conn.) Healthcare’s behavioral health network.
