The 140-bed hospital is the largest provider of adult involuntary mental healthcare, short-term inpatient mental health, substance use treatment and the only facility in the state that offers services for children ages 5-11, according to the project packet.
The expansion will include nursing stations, medical offices, meeting rooms, a recreation area and other amenities.
