Acadia and Tufts will invest more than $65 million to expand behavioral health services in the area, with this hospital being Acadia’s 17th joint venture.
The hospital is projected to have 144 beds and will provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients of all ages.
“This facility will have a tremendous impact, bringing critically needed behavioral healthcare services to the area, Chris Hunter, CEO of Acadia, said in a June 30 company news release. “As we have proven in operating our joint ventures, we will bring the best practices of both organizations and expand access to quality behavioral healthcare services.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
