Acadia Healthcare to build 120-bed behavioral health facility in Wisconsin

Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare is planning to build a new inpatient behavioral health center in Madison, Wis., Behavioral Health Business reported Jan. 17. 

The 84,000-square-foot center will have 120 inpatient beds, which will be split into four units. It will be an add-on and renovation project to an existing office building on the property. 

Acadia has begun the regulatory approval process for the facility. If approved, construction is slated to finish in December 2024. 

The behavioral healthcare provider expects to hire about 240 employees for the center.
