Acadia expands in Georgia with 4 acquisitions

National behavioral health service company Acadia Healthcare acquired four comprehensive treatment centers in the Atlanta suburbs.

The centers purchased from Georgia-based Brand New Start Treatment Center bring the number of Acadia facilities offering medication-assisted treatment programs to 148 nationally, according to a Nov. 8 news release from the company.

Acadia Healthcare operates 242 facilities in 39 states and Puerto Rico and is the largest standalone behavioral healthcare network, according to the company’s website.
