In tandem with EvolvedMD, a Scottsdale, Ariz., based mental health service provider, Advanced Spine and Pain will treat the emotional challenges associated with chronic physical pain.

“Living with daily pain is not only physically stressful but also emotionally stressful,” Erik Osland, co-founder and managing partner at EvolvedMD, said in a June 15 press release. “Our partnership with ASAP allows us to proactively tackle both challenges concurrently so patients can live more productive and enjoyable lives.”

The integrated treatment is expected to begin this summer.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
