96-bed psych hospital gets OK from Michigan HHS

Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services approved a new 96-bed psychiatric hospital in Kent County, local news source MLive reported June 9.

Southbridge Behavioral Hospital, projected to be completed in 2023, will be built in Byron Center and will treat patients experiencing behavioral health crises.
