9 new behavioral health centers in July

Here are nine behavioral health center openings Becker's reported on in July:

  1. Northwest Texas Behavioral Health opened a mental wellness center in Amarillo.
  2. Wolfson Children’s Hospital started renovations to open an inpatient behavioral health unit in Jacksonville, Fla.
  3. Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Acadia Healthcare partnered to build a behavioral health hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, investing more than $55 million to alleviate unmet behavioral health needs in the region.
  4. Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital opened an outpatient behavioral health center offering therapy and coping skill education to patients aged 12 to 18.
  5. Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger opened a behavioral health center in Moosic, Pa.
  6. Kennett, Mo.-based FCC Behavioral Health opened an urgent behavioral health crisis center in Poplar Bluff.
  7. The Pulte Family Foundation Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at McLaren Health Care in Cheboygan, Mich., is set to open when staffing is complete.
  8. Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (Mich.) opened its new behavioral health urgent care and access center.
  9. River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, Calif., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and started accepting its first patients in early July.
