7 new behavioral health projects in 8 days

Here are seven new behavioral health projects that Becker’s has reported on since Nov. 22:

  1. A new Addiction Recovery Care psychiatric facility opened in Russell, Ky.
  2. A 24/7 urgent recovery center is opening in Tulsa, Okla.
  3. Preferred Family Healthcare opened a new behavioral health crisis center in Kirksville, Mo.
  4. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the Olympic Heritage Behavioral Health Hospital in Tukwila, Wash. The state has hired more than 200 staff members to operate the hospital.
  5. Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital is opening a new behavioral health pavilion that includes four inpatient units.
  6. Alliance Healthcare Services received a $1 million grant from the Memphis (Tenn.) City Council to support its Crisis Wellness Center to be built in the city.
  7. Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is looking to open a new facility in Kern County, Calif.
