2 Ohio care providers form unified leadership model

Nelsonville, Ohio-based Integrated Services for Behavioral Health and Lancaster, Ohio-based Fairfield Community Health Center have consolidated under a single leadership structure, effective Jan. 1.

Samantha Shafer, president and CEO of Integrated Services, will lead the combined organization, according to a Jan. 5 news release. 

The merged entity will maintain all services and locations currently offered by both organizations. Lisa Evangelista, CEO of Fairfield Community Health, will retire but continue in a consultative role during the transition. 

The integrated workforce will include 900 employees and is expected to reach more than 17,000 individuals and families each year, according to the news release.

Integrated Services provides mental health, substance use disorder and supportive housing programs across southeast and central Ohio. Fairfield Community Health is a federally qualified health center.
