The first outpatient clinic will open in December in Bozeman, Mont., according to a Nov. 22 news release.
“We are proud to partner with Montana Psychiatry, Dr. Amato, and the accomplished team in Billings,” Davis Wedgworth, vice president of growth at Turnwell Mental Health Network, said in the release. “Options for mental health treatment have been limited causing many people to have to travel long distances for care. Our goal in the partnership with Montana Psychiatry is to change that by bringing local access to transformative treatment to more communities in Montana.”
Montana Psychiatry currently serves over 2,500 people and is in-network for those with Medicare and Medicaid.
Montana currently has one of the highest suicide rates in the country, according to the release, with rural areas typically having limited access to mental healthcare.
