- Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers is expanding its flagship clinic in Milwaukee to add substance use disorder services. The project is funded in part by a $4.7 million gift from Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health and will include a 21,000-square-foot addition to the clinic.
- McCall Center for Behavioral Health, based in Torrington, Conn., purchased a house that will undergo a $325,000 renovation and be used for individuals in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders.
- Wisconsin-based ThedaCare completed the second phase of modernization of its behavioral health services at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. The $100 million modernization project spans four phases, with the third phase already in progress.
- Meridian Behavioral Healthcare is leading the effort to build a central receiving facility for four mental healthcare facilities in Gainesville, Fla. The project began with a $500,000 investment from Alachua County and the city of Gainesville, and the Florida Legislature approved over $1 million in May for annual operations.
