Here are 13 new behavioral health facilities and programs that Becker's has reported on so far in January:
- Austin, Texas-based St. David's HealthCare is constructing a behavioral health center near its North Austin medical center.
- Mariottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours has opened a new partial hospitalization program for teenagers at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Va.
- Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Family Care Center opened a new outpatient mental health clinic in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
- Chesapeake (Va.) Regional Medical Center plans to open a 20-bed inpatient psychiatric unit by November of 2025.
- Mountain Youth Academy is opening a new youth mental health facility in Mountain City, Tenn.
- Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Md., received a $1 million grant for its School of Health Professions, which will house a pediatric behavioral health center.
- The Griffin Williamson Campus of Rosecrance, an addiction treatment provider in Rockford, Ill., launched an adult residential program.
- The Community Health Alliance opened an opioid treatment center in Middletown, Ohio.
- Belharmon Recovery Services opened in Barnesville, Ohio.
- The state of Oregon purchased a building in Portland to offer treatment and temporary housing for people with substance use disorders.
- The police department in Bloomington, Minn., launched a mental health pilot program that provides immediate, no-cost, in-home therapy to community members.
- Northern Minnesota-based Lakeview Behavioral Health opened a new behavioral health office in Duluth.
- Live Oak Mental Health & Wellness in Ladson, S.C., launched a new substance use and recovery program.
