10 states spending the least on mental health resources

Though the demand for mental health services in all 50 states increased in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, funding for mental health treatment in each state varies, according to a report by NiceRx Health.

State mental health funding per capita ranges from $345.36 in Maine to $32.77 in Idaho, according to the “Mental Health Report” published Sept. 14 by the company.
