Several large behavioral health centers have opened in recent weeks or are slated to open soon.
Here are 10 behavioral health openings to note since May 19:
- Dayton Children’s Hospital completed its $108 million Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness, which is scheduled to open on July 15.
- Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services opened a 60,000-square-foot behavioral health facility in Yankton, S.D., June 16, NBC affiliate KTIV reported May 28.
- N.E.W. Community Clinic opened a new behavioral health clinic in Green Bay, Wis., ABC affiliate WBAY reported June 10. The site offers mental health and substance use treatment services.
- Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness, a 16-bed inpatient behavioral health facility in Stanwood, Wash., will open this summer, CBS affiliate KIRO 7 reported June 10.
- Washington County, Ore., opened a $29 million recovery center in Hillsboro, Hillsboro News Times reported May 29.
- Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Health opened its fourth behavioral health clinic. The 5,250-square-foot facility offers adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, adult therapy and child and adolescent therapy.
- Phoenix-based Valleywise Health reopened a 24-bed mental health unit at its behavioral health hospital in Maryvale, Ariz., May 27.
- King of Prussia,Pa.-based Universal Health Services and Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health Michigan will open their $46 million joint behavioral health hospital in the near future.
- NYC Health + Hospitals and Gotham Health opened a renovated behavioral health suite in Brooklyn. The space is designed to reduce wait times and improve access to treatment.
- Palm Harbor, Fla.-based Children’s Medical Center opened a behavioral health wing, Spectrum News reported May 20.
