The center will have 86 beds across its adult, adolescent, geriatric and substance use recovery inpatient units and five outpatient programs, according to a Jan. 25 news release from the health system. The facility, which is still subject to state and county approval, also will have 20 inpatient beds for patients with brain and spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions.

The facility is slated for completion in late 2025, and The Washington Post reported Jan. 24 that construction is expected to cost $80 million.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
