The HUB — which stands for health, unity and belonging — opened in April and will serve the university’s 550 Division III student athletes for its first full term in the fall. The room provides a space for student-athletes to relax and connect with others over mental health.

The room was designed based on feedback from student-athletes and includes study spaces, snacks and drinks and a variety of wellness activities and resources. Student-athletes can also attend “Checkup From the Neck Up” sessions about mental health and stress relief in the space.
