ERP gradually exposes individuals suffering from OCD to their specific fears or obsessions, aiming to minimize and prevent compulsive behaviors. It is known as the "gold standard" for OCD treatment, according to an Aug. 8 press release from Talkiatry.
Around half of individuals battling OCD require medication to be successful in ERP treatment, and the partnership will make it easier to both access the ERP treatment approach and receive medication. Both services are in-network for major insurers.
